Airplane!

Yeah, I saw that presentation too a couple of months ago, absolutely mindblowing. I had tried to watch the movie on home video many times over the years, but always fell asleep, it was so DULL. But in the theater, oh man, one of the greatest movie experiences I've ever had.

I now watched all 10 episodes and found it fascinating. It's not good, but I wanted to keep watching. A very weird show - at least it's something different.

No personal bias.

I have yet to see "Love" so I can't compare.

It only opened here yesterday so I'm hoping I can catch it. Though it doesn't seem that great. :)

I love "Man on wire" and have watched it several times, but I really liked "The Walk" as well. It's raison d'etre is the staging of the final walk, and at least in IMAX 3D where I saw it, it pulled that off spectacularly great (except for one scene where the low budget showed in the poor CGI). Both movies work well

He's great. "Mistress America" and "While we're young"
were two of last year's best movies IMO.

I love watching the Masters because of the visuals. Limited commercials and limited graphics. Not even a channel logo for most of the time. So great, and such a throwback to how sports used to be on TV.

It's big, loud, Affleck is good as Batman, and the last hour is (to me) an unusually engaging CGI-battle. I had a good time watching these two iconic characters together (and of course Luthor, Wonder Woman and more). That's about it.

Yeah, this seems more like finding a reason to hate more on Snyder than anything else.

TFAs casting is impeccable. I watched the 70 min "making of" (pretty dull, overall) and that was the thing that really struck me.

You sold me on it with the last sentence. A24 has an amazing track record so far.

That TMNT was a happy surprise. Lean and effective, clocking it at just the right length. Hope they don't stuff the sequel full of bloat.

Saw Baskin, and I think the AV Club review was pretty accurate. It delivered some scares and was definitely disgusting, but it felt like the parts of it should've led to something more than what the movie ended up being. Still, I think it was directed with style and skill, I'm guessing that the director will be called

Junk mail, mostly. Always a disappointment when the only melons you see are actual melons, this week for $0.99 only.

I have a feeling this was the main deciding factor.

Hell, skip the "faithful" part if that's cool with her. But the way he went down was just pathetic.

But we have over and over been shown otherwise. What the characters say and what the show says are not the same thing.

Thanks for your excellent comment. You get this show. So many reviewers genuinely seem to believe that the show thinks Chip is a good guy. It is maddening to see this excellent show get torn down by reviewers who are clearly unable to process the ideas in it.
