The comedy on this show is definitely a big plus. It manages to lighten up the mood without sacrificing the tone of the show. It's just another thing the Americans does better than most dramas.

I definitely wouldn't be embarrassed by that, this show throws things at you a mile a minute and expects you to keep up. I've certainly been lost sometimes (EDIT: most times) on my first watch, but it makes my second watch even more enjoyable because I see how the show is able to subtly suggest what's going to come

They somehow made that scene work so well. Some other shows might go for the cheap joke, but they didn't let the tension drop for a second. Made it so good when Philip was able to handle the agent's attempts to escape so well. He's not stupid enough to fall for that, and the Americans is smart enough to show us he

Yeah, I actually think Pawnee Zoo is a really underrated episode, it's great.

I do think it's a little unfair to judge Parks and Recreation's first season too harshly. Sure those first episodes were a little shaky, but there were only 6 of them, and the writing staff figured out what to fix about the show pretty much as soon as season 2 started. When you look at the first 22 episodes of the

It might be hard with Craig Robinson set to star in that new show, but he brought a really great element to that episode and it would be amazing to see him back.

This finale really snuck up on me. It's only March! I still have a blizzard hitting me tomorrow! Shows are only allowed to end when I can do something outside instead of huddling around the comforting warmth of my TV.

That and Captain Raymond sex-vibes were definitely my comedic highlights.

I'm really excited to see them do an undercover storyline. My season highlights both had a large cop element (This and Pontiac Bandit) so if a number of episodes span an overarching undercover bust, I don't see how I won't love it.

Seriously, this episode stepped it up big time. Made me far more excited for the second season than I have any right to be.

Agreed, Shirley looks like a badass!

Mohcocoa's not on board.

I don't know, I think it's hard to ignore the first episode especially when this one called back on it so much in the first act to subvert the structure. That being said, I still think this episode was graded pretty fairly. It was really funny in places, but the story felt messy to me.

I don't know if he has really elevated his performance from the seasons 1-3 as a result of having to pretty much carry season 4, but he's been able to turn every sing joke this year into a great joke with his delivery.

I loved that Abed was having an imaginary game of D&D where all the stuffed animals wanted to do was have an imaginary tea party. His frustration at them not playing culminating in him saying "you attempt to pass the crumpets…you fail" then killing them off with hobgoblins was awesome.

I feel like this episode had some really fantastic moments, but again it seemed like they tacked on an emotional subtext just to add some "depth" to the episode. I've really enjoyed this season, it has exceeded my expectations in almost every way, but I don't like that this episode and Male Bondage felt like they

Agreed, as much as I enjoy the concept episodes on this show, they have been a little hit and miss this season, and there have been a few too many considering this is a shortened season. The best episode of the season by far, at least in my opinion, was Cooperative Polygraphy, which was definitely one of the more down

B+

Maybe Paige was just really ahead of the curve. I mean she may not look like it, but maybe she was pretty deeply invested in the British New Wave scene.
