I haven't seen this movie but from the trailers onwards, I had a feeling this would be a tired retread of Blomkamp's now stale style. It's like watching M. Night Shyamalan's career all over again, only at a quicker pace. What once had promise only delivers routine disappointment.

"For you, the day Patricia Arquette graced you with some throwaway advice was the greatest day in your life. For me…it was just Tuesday."

In a TV comedy landscape where so much is loud, braying, negative and ultimately insulting to viewers, I'm so happy a show like Parks and Recreation existed. It's always been funny but also with an undercurrent of being sweet without being totally treacly. The show went out on its own terms, wrapped peoples' stories

I remember now! An ok character for that brief sketch but insufferable when drawn out over the course of an episode.

I would get constantly shouted down on a certain homepage for Kal El's message boards for insisting Welling had the onscreen charisma of drywall and the acting style of a bored monkey. It baffled me how so many people not only liked his "acting" but would fiercely defend it. Not to say the regular cast of The Flash or

We did 20 takes and that was the best one.

oh holy shit, this has to go down as one of their all time best episodes. They took the cliche of "main cast gets locked in a confined space" and just RAN with it. I half expected a clip show but the creators of the show are much smarter than that (though the Clerks Animated Show clip episode had a pretty brilliant

Bunch of illiterate clowns.

yes and it was wonderful

there are no toilets in those holding cells!

Superman: The Movie was originally supposed to end on a cliffhanger - Superman tosses one nuclear missile into space and heads back down to Earth to assist with the damage caused by the second missile. First missile releases the Kryptonians from their prison and we get a cliffhanger leading into Superman 2. The time

"They're onto me!"
