This is a shitty review of an amazing episode. One of their best in a long time. Butters going full tilt in the "virtual" world. Cartman showing up to his hospital room with simple magic tricks. The customer feedback loop that also served as a great play on words. Just a lot to love in this episode, really great.

but not My Big Fat Greek Painful Custody Battle

Hooooly crap, Donna Smoak. Hot milf Emma Stone? I didn't realize this was possible until now.

thanks, soccer moms of America!

I watched that episode at a party last Friday, definitely creepy.

I would like to voice my enthusiastic support for a Question TV show as well please.

To use wrestling parlance, I totally marked out seeing the OMAC reference

I was so glad to hear good ol' VASE_SHATTER.WAV make an appearance during Thea and Malcolm's duel.

SPOILERS IN MY COMMENT

a lot of the Clone High songs have become part of my DNA, the makeover song being a vital part of that

(yeah yeah yeah)

Dave Chapelle already made that movie within 30 seconds of a sketch

Where is JA?!

One thing the musical episode absolutely nails is how most, if not all, rock operas seem to operate at this 8th grade understanding of symbolism and subtext. There are multiple clumsy Jesus metaphors, the backmasking, the heavyhanded morality story, etc. all lampooned to near perfection.

and that album was honestly more experimental and willing to tinker with formula than Pop. U2 has always come off as your dad trying to awkwardly act cool in front of your friends with all the latest memes and youtube videos someone summarized for him

I've read more about U2 in the past couple of weeks than I have in about 10 years, or care to ever read. I'm convinced they hired some sort of social media manager to plant their name in all sorts of media: iTunes libraries, super defensive AV Club articles, I'm sure there's a Payless Shoe Source ad coming out soon

*GASP*

KIDS SAAAAY DRUGS ARE COOL
THAT IS WHY I RUUULE

I really wish I hadn't seen the Cloud Atlas movie, because the book sounds infinitely more fascinating, but the movie left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and now I know I won't be able to enjoy the book quite as much without associating it with the movie.

terrible reasoning for hating a song, squirms through rest of interview. Guy's trying to be a contrarian hipster douche and falling on his face spectacularly. I also had to google his shitty pop punk band and yeah, not exactly a bastion of good musical taste for me to consider his shitty opinion on a 20 year old song
