maybe it was a healthy attitude towards menstruation

this fucking hurts. especially that it was a suicide. so damn sad.

Rewatching all of Mission Hill. Great, underrated show that was part of a slew of really good animated shows from the early 2000s that was cut down way before its prime (see also 3 South and Clone High).

They're rioting at a college level!

That episode has some of the best music ever.

an "other" site? do I smell a late 90's WWF/WCW type rivalry between two pop culture websites?

I didn't realize I was watching fucking Kick-Ass in that movie till halfway through when it hit me. (SPOILER)…when Cranston's character kicks it, it was the biggest disappointment of the movie for me. "Great, now Kick-Ass has to carry this movie on his dumb shoulders."

no one asked for this

your friends probably don't know what parody means. they might mean homage, but even that's a stretch. the "wink at the audience" jokes these dogshit movies make are so damn cringeworthy, it's like watching the dumbass jock in your class try to retell a great joke someone else said, but butchering it completely and

I'm puzzled how Modern Family remains a critically acclaimed series when the show itself is absolute piffle. I tried watching a couple of episodes and it's pretty shitty. I guess it's a perfect sitcom for older people with no sense of humor whatsoever.

are you fucking kidding me with big bang theory and american horror story in their respective categories? just look at the other nominees and tell me those two weren't thrown in there as a joke.

Every time I think I might check out a work of fantasy, I end up not doing so - any kind of high fantasy, really. I know there's probably a huge gulf of difference between GOT and LOTR for example, but it all looks exactly the same to me. I just can't get over how tedious and self-important a lot of medieval fantasy

Where will he ply his oh-so-topical riff on Usher's "Yeah" now?

I'm glad he's going. Unfunny to the core and so full of himself he can't help guffaw at his own middle of the road humor while the audience just sits there going "okaaay…that was kinda funny I guess…"

I won't miss him laughing at his own jokes before the audience even has a chance. Not much of a loss, really.

Rob Schneider probably watches all their kids while they go off and have a good time.

if that hot chick they had doing FX bumpers a while back is nude on that channel, sign me the fuck up

I'm aware of the Vertigo reference in the opening credits. I was just making a joke about how much I hate the character Lou and I want him to be thrown off a building in the show. You know, jokes?

the party offered a flip side to Don's birthday party that seemed to have happened decades ago. His wife who was all too happy to put on a little Zou Bisou show for him and him alone, is now trying to have fun by herself at her own party while he just awkwardly stands to a side. Not for lack of trying - booze, weed,

This was an episode where I totally thought someone was going to get punched or slapped, but it never happened. Lots of high-drama blueballs.
