"when you someone eat it" came from the hooves of horsefellow I think

Take into consideration though that the work performed by a "Producer", had little direct influence on what people currently call "production values" of a recording…even more so back then.

No….but I was forced to listen to a few of them on tape with my family while driving to/from my grandparents house in NJ. Nothing like listening to rape fantasy with your mom to make your teenage years extra awkward!

I volunteer next door to the Polka Hall of Fame (in Euclid, OH)
I know musicians that regularly make interstate trips to come to the Cleveland are "Polka Jams"
Local (actually kind of good) Polka act "Chardon Polka Band" is helping to make Dingus Day a big deal in Cleveland.

That's the only one you remember? What about the simpson's mod or the bloody nose on a stick mod?

*overshare*

Please don't conflate "The Rake Joke" with "The Fucking Rake Joke". Surely you can't be bored with the gag where the short guy ends up with one end of a rake in his ass…. I mean a rake's got TWO ends, there's so many variants to be made!

Billy Gibbons is the nicest guy to ever tell Nathan Rabin a store about the homosexuals….

Link, please….

But RMG is an essential daily reminder of how people are awful and it's best not to care about humanity! If I didn't hear that jag bag talk about a woman's "creamers" on the Thursday Morning hook up I might accidentally start looking people in the eye.

Yep…..Frasier, too.

….why WOULDN'T the guy who got away with murdering a black kid would have a warehouse full of dildos?

which song, Cissy Strut or Sneaking Sally? I've been in shitty jam bands that have played them both, but without a doubt Cissy Strut is much more common. The song's an easy framework to make a jam out of, and it's not too tough to pick up. (That doesn't mean I'm saying anyone does it justice)

I'll join in on some Calvinball as soon as I finish up this game of Whack Bat. Actually we're short a twig runner if you wanna join. Grab a pine cone and a lighter and head on over.

There's actually an animated BFG film. The whole thing's up on youtube.

This looks like a real-life Peanuts dance scene. In fact I may have to set this to the Peanuts theme now…

Even if she doesn't, I have and I want to thank you for the information. My daughter was born with strabismus (plus a host of cardiac and other issues). She's already had one eye surgery at 9 months. And she may be headed for another before her vision starts to suffer permanently at 2 years old.

Yeah, been around for a while and i think they get a bit outside of the Twin Cities area. I think I've seen them listed on festival bills in the OH, PA, NY area. I haven't seen them personally, though.

I want to take my 5 year old kid to this as well.  Tell you what, we'll go together.  It's easier to be an asshole in a group of asshole.  Any chance you live in Cleveland?

I sampled that line from an old vhs copy I had of slackers.  I liked to drop it randomly through tracks around 2001-2002
