Mischief…Is that the "full-frontal Kelly Preston" movie?

September 29

He lost all his London privileges.

"Band-Aid? Is that a cute name for suckin' dudes dicks and lickin' Dickie Betts' asshole? Y'all are fuckin' skanks."

Coppola does that with most of his adaptations. Not sure it's an indicator of fidelity to source material as much as a hat tip to the author. Mario Puzo's The Godfather, John Grisham's The Rainmaker (didn't do it with the S.E. Hinton adaptations, probably because the studio knew they needed "Francis Ford Coppola

Yeah, I was with him till the Frasier hate. One of the great sitcoms, in my opinion.

@facebook-1789012451:disqus Good stuff about Leonard. I agree his stuff isn't funny like Hollywood seems to think. There's loads of irony, but generally he just likes to show criminals as average people with petty issues who tend to fuck up as much as anyone (if not more so). Hollywood is used to seeing every criminal

I think the effects, make up and costumes are pretty great. Too bad Coppola forgot to bring in a script.

I think it's unfair to explain away the success of ATPM as a director and actor's movie. Not to say it isn't, but that was an extremely difficult book to streamline into a suspenseful thriller. It was far from screen ready. He was the one who decided to make it a mystery. He had to find a way to make guys making phone

@avclub-68ce199ec2c5517597ce0a4d89620f55:disqus The part where he talks about how he wants to have sex and take a hit off the crack pipe while they're both coming…and he says it just like Eric Foreman would to Donna! Equal parts creepy and icky.

Well, he did win Best Director.

I guess you're right. For some reason it just seemed like Descendents was getting more love, but I guess it just got the same amount of love but was far less deserving.

I find it odd that The Descendents and not Sideways got all the love from the Academy. I guess The Descendents is a little more heartwarming and all that, but Sideways is the type of movie that everyone complains isn't made anymore. Can't believe that one is 10 years old.

Isn't that his Seth Galifianakis voice?

He's old to the point of not seeming to care what people think anymore, which is endearing and awesome. He's got his Oscar and he doesn't feel like shaving and The Dude is a very enjoyable character to play in real life when you have millions.

I read an interview with Reynolds in Esquire or something like that around the time of Green Lantern and he seemed rather ambivalent about his comedy film career. Seemed much more interested in "ach-ting!" and/or blowing shit up. Also seemed very embarrassed by Van Wilder.

You mean Fifteen: "Nick's Continuing High School Drama"?

He has also inexplicably convinced the people who make movies that he's a movie star.

I know she has a nude scene in that one and was pretty young. Possibly
she means the producers, though I suppose Mr. Lowe was pretty notorious in those days.

I think there's an impulse in society to assume whatever is coming out of Kanye West's mouth is probably crazy and irrational.
