Yes, yes and yes. (I said that from three different perspectives, all of which sound like Klosterman)

Love Stipe but I get the feeling he lost his sense of humor around the time he started making intelligible lyrics.
Definitely their best song. I recall being really upset I couldn't find it on one of their albums and this was before such information was readily available on the internet. It was probably one of the first five songs I downloaded on Napster.
It's nice to see someone come in and just straight up hate a song and not fill the interview with a bunch of caveats like, "I'm sure they're talented, it's just this one song!" Diplomacy does not belong in a feature like Hatesong.
Check out Chocolate and Cheese and/or The Mollusk.
Or as Ween would say, "where'd the cheese go?"
Is Tyler the one that sounds like a rewrite of Where Is My Mind?
Those are my three, too. Might even be in my top 10 all-time QOTSA favs.
One review I read spend most of their time complaining that the album has too many guests but the guests don't serve a purpose. Weird criticism, I think, especially because the author used it as the basis for why the album was such a letdown. Was Elton supposed to duet with Josh?
Yeah, but Marc didn't have money for a long long time and Black was successful early on, so Marc by default *has* to hate him.
This detour where he's trying to act is unbecoming. I blame Tarantino.
I think we can all admit Coolio has done better work.
Doug Ellin is about as far from Zwigoff as you can get and still be a white male filmmaker. It's impressive, really. Zwigoff made Crumb. Ellin made Phat Beach.
A guy who stars in movies that make over a billion dollars.
I'm thinking of a fictional William Makepeace Thackeray character?
Might not help that Barry Levinson lost his directing mojo somewhere around 2000.
HAVE NO FEAR Affleck and Damon are making a Whitey Bulger movie.
I kinda love "Quick and to the Pointless"
You're just fishing for a like from me, dammit!
I think the third is their best, really. Second is good too. First one doesn't do as much for me.
