Can Connells be far behind? (Answer: yes)

Mars Classroom - Wish You Were Young…a top 10 song of the year for me by Mr. Pollard and Gary Waleik of Big Dipper (and one of only what, 8 albums Bob released this year?)

Same here. I guess he thinks it's redundant since they're both straight forward rock bands, but fuck it, I like what the other guys in BS bring to the table.

I know a guy who I'm pretty sure only listens to three artists: Pollard, REM and Centro-Matic (who are sort of like GBV if they were from Texas instead of Ohio). His year end best of lists are usually pretty funny.

The intelligent design thing also seemed like something Judge might have written for King of the Hill, although they covered similar territory with the sex ed episode in season 1.

Glad other people caught this. Judge was on that superfan round table 2 weeks ago, which I only heard a few minutes of. I wonder if he mentioned this.

Yes, nonchalant Beavis is so great. Like when Butthead remarks that the rat likes Beavis for saving his life and Beavis says "Oh yeah, how's it goin'?" Something so simple becomes so funny with Judge's muttering delivery.

Thank god they lost the LaJoie song per episode gimmick

Fell through the cracks, it seems. The script wasn't very good, but it would have been great to see Sad If I Lost It being done as a big Hollywood production number.

Why? A talented fucktard can still make a good movie.

I'd say it's their most underrated album by far. Insane to think it was pretty much an album of reheated, decade-old leftovers. Their last great album, IMO.

He recorded Tom Taubert's Blues AND Downtown Train. I think there may be more, too.

I think whoever joined the band was still going to be under Keith and Mick's direction and therefore a tad bit stifled. Woody has done some great stuff on the Stones albums (especially his slide work, slide is really his specialty) but rarely has he had the chance to show his talents as much as he did in the Faces

Not sure if I'd put it with Some Girls but Tattoo You is pretty dern good, especially the Keith songs.

Imagining someone hearing "Lost Paraguayos" and not liking it is a foreign concept to me.

If you find Ms. Sorvino the least bit attractive, the way she looks in Barcelona will blow you away. She's always a sexy lady, but she's an 11 in that film.

Oz all but gave up muppeteering years ago. He said he never really enjoyed it that much. As for him not participating, he was supposed to direct a Muppet film a few years back before Disney decided not to, so there could be some bitterness there. Also, Oz is kind of a dick, in case you haven't read any interviews with

I wasn't arguing whether it could happen in real life or not, just that it seemed plausible within the world of the show.

This is a subtle Jew joke, isn't it?

I think he becomes wigged out, sure. He's a high-strung guy, but I don't think any of the situations with Kevin have been more outlandish or unbelievable than anything with Jerry or George on Seinfeld (or for that matter, Larry David).
