I love him too, and he's one of the few TV characters I have an easy time relating to. A generally good, straightforward guy who's still just completely baffled by a lot of the world around him. And despite my being a tattooed metal dude who doesn't eat meat, in most ways I am a complete and total Hank Hill-style…

I just watched this one on Adult Swim, as it turns out. Perfect conclusion to the series.

One of my favorite things about Hank throughout the entire series is how crazy he is about his dog, and the extent to which he prefers her to most people. Incidentally, this reflects my views for the most part.
