Would have been more interesting if he'd started dressing the son up as a girl, and making him pretend to be the dead daughter. Now that's a story!

He must have been the ghost-writer!
Yep… I swooned every time she spoke French here. Oooh la la la!
Awesome, a new GTA game!
"The show's not real! Why can't you just see that? Jesus! What are you fucking blind? You think you're above this, don't you? You are trapped here with the rest of them brother! Get out! Get out! Oblivio essevet!"
“Weird Al” Yankovic doesn't care about Amish people.
"Felt like a really blatant Hellboy rip-off."
Memo to showrunners: Where there are ghost doctors, there can be vampire doctors… and werewolf lawyers… and zombie milkmen…
Shade The Changing Man used to be one of my favourite comic books… and no joke, as a teenage boy it genuinely blew my mind when Shade accidentally changed into a woman and felt creeped out by all the men staring at him… so I highly recommend it, and am very curious to see what Milligan is going to do with him now…
Weirdly the revelation of the twist above sorta makes me want to watch it more, just to see how it plays out. I'll probably wait until it's a cheap DVD rental though…
"What transpires within the confines of the walls of Sodom, stays within the confines of the walls of Sodom."
Dharma and Greg used the exact same "belated first date" plot once… and since this episode didn't end with Jenna Elfman jumping on a trampoline, I'm going to say Dharma FTW.
"Won't somebody please think of the (hypothetical) children?"
It does seem like a very amusing premise for a horror-comedy… but from the review it sounds like this would have worked better as a short. The soul of wit is brevity, and all that…
Sounds like that godawful Bachelor movie, only with the genders switched. Why would anyone want to rip off a premise as lame as that one?
Yeah, I think by this point even the AV Club writers have to accept that she bears more than a little culpability for the crappiness of her career. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
I'm quite enjoying it… mostly for the Deschanel star power, but there are a lot of fun jokes in there too. And it has the best theme tune of the season!
Assless chaps!
I'm just surprised she's old enough to have two kids already, on top of making all those films. Who the hell keeps stealing all this time from me?
Good call! That's a great film.
