I like this pitch!
All they need is a cherry red convertible, get Courtney Love riding shotgun, load up the trunk with drugs, and point them in the vague direction of Las Vegas! I'd call it "Like A Bat Out of Hollywood!" Any takers?

Worst commencement speech ever! That chick was such a downer. :(

"As soon as I heard [Fey] was in, I was in," Carell said. "Almost in complete disregard for anything else."

Date Night 2: Babysitter's On Acid!
But, as Mr Tobias said, I hope Fey and Carell get a better showcase for their talents… one that would have been worth watching even if they weren't in it, but is even better for their contributions. And that they avoid visiting any museums filled with magical enchanted exhibits.

I really wish the "Marshal Law" omnibus would come out already… those guys do great work together.

RIP, obviously…

"I wish for Abraham Lincoln to be a girl."

I know it's a common word…
But there's already been a comic called "Nemesis", AND IT WAS AWESOME. Pat Mills FTW.

Yep. I used to read a lot of DC comics when I was younger, but really enjoyed some of the recent Marvel movies, and thought "Hey, maybe I should check out some X-Men comics"… but there are so many of them that's it's just too intimidating. Even reading the Wikipedia entries on superheroes I used to follow confuses me.

I've got a soft spot for Peter Chung's contribution to "The Animatrix", but other than that, after the original movie… meh…

And purses for men!

"School of Rock" is a great film… so what happened with that is he wrote and appeared in a great film, that a lot of people love.

I still feel slightly bad for laughing more at Stewart's interview with a malfunctioning puppet, than with a real-life comedian. So childish of me… but it's arm came off the rod! Bwaaa haaa haa ha ha ha!!!

Is "Nerd Skew" a band name yet? It really should be.

Hey, where's the spoiler alert for that song?

Deep Blue Something?

While "Claire van der Boom" sounds like the name of a cartoon villainess. No offence.

Or a sequel to "Triangle"?

Convenient!
I just saw Carell talking about this on "The Daily Show" (we get it a day late over here) and came online to check out some reviews! Sounds like a solid rental, but not nearly as unmissable as a film with those leads really should be. I'd rather save my money for Office/30 Rock boxsets.

All this time people thought ZMF was one of the AVClub staff dicking around, when in fact he was part of a long-term viral marketing campaign for Oprah Winfrey! Well played, ma'am… well played.
