This is an amazing article, Todd. Thanks for making the sacrifice of watching some godawful TV to write it. I'm reminded of the super-strange politics of the show you all were discussing in the roundtable most recently, Seventh Heaven, and also its spinoff, Secret Lives Of The American Teenager. Both those shows delt

…And that's how you play "Pin The Tail On The Cobra"

I sincerely hope something not-bad happens to Donna where she can't review for two more weeks, and two different people review the episodes, and they both give it in the B range. WE MUST ACHIEVE TEN STRAIGHT B-RANKINGS FROM SEPERATE REVIEWERS! WE HAVE THE CONSENSUS TECHNOLOGY!

Buying comics on the internet is really kind of hard, though, especially obscure single issues. I like issue-by-issue comics reading for the same way i like episode-by-episode TV watching, and I can't buy comics issue-by-issue online. Of course I can pirate them, and I do pirate them, although I only let myself pirate

They have some Dark Horse stuff, but only one of the comics that's listed up above (BPRD). Just two star wars comics, BPRD, buffy, and that's it dark-horse wise. They have some other indie stuff too, but my point (only the mainstreamiest stuff is get-table) remains

I mean, theoretically, yes, but to be honest, the only places I've found good comics writing online are here at the AV Club and Retcon Punch (which I talk about above.) Do you have any suggestions?

Wait, how does that work? Rain Man's rated R!

That's the joke.

First of all, I agree on all counts. Great points.
I love the Big Issues, but what I really want (And I realize I'm not neccesarily representative of the whole readership) is a better-written version of Comic Book Resources, which has a decent structure (paragraph reviews of most major comics and some niche comics) but

Hey, comics panel, I love the idea of combining your arthouse comics with your regular coverage; but there is a downside; namely, you have FOUR "Dark Horse" comics listed here and only one from either DC or Marvel. My tiny local comic shop only carries DC + Marvel stuff, and when both your major label reviews are

I think you meant VIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICTORYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this episode was inconsistent, with some good scenes and some bad? Hmm… Sounds like this show is practicing some…

Judging by the press stills, he at least had a wall of HAIR!

"More than Good"? You mean like the Tony the Tiger slogan,"It's More than good, it's grrreat"? Hmmm… I forsee a cough-syrup flavored breakfast cereal in someone's future…

This guy is soiling my profile picture's good name!!

AND NOW, THE ANDREA BATTLEGROUND THEME SONG! TO THE TUNE OF THE ABOVE SONG!

Very possible. In retrospect, I think maybe a much higher like count would be a good idea. 100 likes, maybe? Or 80? What do you all think?

We should have a best comments of the week thread, the way Gameological does! Since there are far more comments, we'll set the cutoff at 40 likes, and do it by category. So here are the Film comments of the week beginning March 13!
