Designing a show to fail would be an example of NBC's incompetance. What amazes me is that the network can produce such great gems and completely fail to find markets for them.

I think this is my favourite Christmas movie (or close to it). Maybe that says more about the quality of Christmas movies that it does about Nightmare, but whatever. I like it quite a bit and find myself watching it every couple years, sometime in November or December.

If you can't think of a more bad-ass gay character, you clearly need to watch The Wire.

I think Stahl and the actress playing her are terrific! I haven't been on these borads much lately, and I'm really surprised to see how divisive she is. Calling her annoying or tedious just seems to come from a perspective where you identify with The MC too much. Sure she's career obsessed and and Machiavellian, but…

Inception's fight scenes were much better than TDK's. Where TDK had choppy editing that really showed nothing, Inception had proper choreography and a steady camera to actually show what was going on. The result: Joseph Gordon-Levitt actually looks like he can beat guys up. That's fucking impressive.

The Apprentice does have a LOT of product placement and general synergy, even for reality TV. That must balance out the costs somewhat. I would imagine, for instance, that a Dorritos episode covers a lot of the NYC shooting costs, and that Trump gets paid a percentage and not a lump sum.

Its when you make him the leading man that he just goes to shit. Walhlberg is a good actor, but I've never seen a good Wahlberg vehicle, nor have I seen him act well in one.

The Mr. F plot and Charlize Theron were the weakest aspects of the entire run of the show. The show picked up again at the very end, when they went for broke, but there was a serious rough patch there. I think you're in the minority blasmo.

Yea, 30 Rock isn't as good as it was, but it's still very good, watchable TV. I tend to skip the review though since it just kills my buzz.

I too watch Ugly Americans and would come here if there was aregular review. I think its a very good show already, with tons of unused potential. Something about where that crazy premise leads (like Treegasm) I find very very watchable.
