I have the opposite opintion lloydyboy. I didn't commit to Justified after the first episode seemed cliched and going-nowhere. But I caught up 1/2 way through when an actual plot took off, Walton Goggins got more screen time, and the show became more immersive.

I don't want to like Barrymore, but dammit she is very likeable.

I love you Towlie

Sometimes I hate you Americans so much.

Kings
The sheer beauty of the production and depth of of the world it portrays behind it sold me almost imediately. The very first shot of the cotton floating through the air is better than 90% of the best TV.

With a script/ad-blocker like NoScript, Winnebago. I assume you're refering to ads that I don't see.

Wait Wait Wait
Wait…

Yea, my desktop was of average ability almost three years ago and it can play SC2. You'd be surprised how compatible it is.

Well, hopefully that'll teach you to stop trying to get firsties and to instead read the article and have reasonable discussions.

Meh, I owned both Diablos and while they are fun, the second game lacked all the atmosphere/mood/sense of place of the first one. It was an adicting click-fest for sure, but not really as great as it should have been. It certainly is not as good as Starcraft, and I expect that to carry on to these sequels.

haha, yea. Wolverine should be like 5 foot nothing. Pretty much as broad as he is tall.

Like most of the world (or USA) I've never even been close to Chicago and don't give a shit. You're references mean nothing to me!

I bow before your encyclopedic knowledge of Friends. 300 Quatloos for you.

I remember watching it when it came out (I would have said more than 4 years ago) and having a similar reaction to Claire's (ie not hating it despite being entirely derivitive). Haven't had cable since though, can't beleive its still on.

Yea, Kings was crazy expensive, but not because of the actors. It was the fact that they filmed gorgeous sets with great swooping shots in downtown New York (i think) and various palaces.

Ian McShane
This guy is one of my favourite actors TV actors these days. I'm sure I don't need to point out what a great standout among great actors he was on Deadwood, but he was also marvelous in Kings, which nobody saw but I can't recommend highly enough.

The bigger question is how did Whiskey (with Clyde 2.0 imprint) get from Rossum HQ where she was killed or knocked out by Echo and then blown up by Boyd, to the Dollhouse in a doll state. As far as I can tell, that makes no sense.

Haha, me too. Nothing against Max (I've never heard of him, but that means nothing) but if it were Mel Brooks then this would really be news!

I'm glad this is thread is back.

I like Tosh.O just fine. Its not great, but every ep seems to have some crazy racist joke that makes me laugh. And the web redemptions are a surprisingly classy idea.
