This movie has been out for a while
I've beens seeing ads for this film for weeks here in Vancouver. I couldn't figure out why there wasn't a review here. I don't think that's ever happened before, except with little Canadian movies that never show up down there. I mean, Winter's Bone is showing in ONE theatre over…

They use a sliding scale around here, depending on what the film attempts. My guess is that this movie is better than The Sourcerer's Apprentice, but because it tackles weighty subject matter, but does so not very well, it gets a lower grade. Still doesn't make it worth seeing though.

I don't remember that Pancakes. I've seen some of those films and liked them, but I was too young at the time they came out to have seen and remember them.

Gordon-Levitt, Page, and DiCapprio (despite his best efforts), all look like they're 12. Odd casting choices for sure.
