I still say that Jacob is evil and Esau isn't.
I still say that Jacob is evil and Esau isn't.
it was originally going to say "big reveal" (which is a noun right) but even the idea of Daniel Farraday being Widmore's son wasn't the "big reveal" of the night.
I don't think they'll be so blunt as to actually name him Esau but the story we've been given so far fits Jacob and Esau's story in the bible and I was tired of calling a dude so badass Smokey and I felt like he needed a proper name.
Also, Oh my god you can't just ASK people why they are smoke monsters.
I definitely not saying I'm not upset that certain stuff won't go unanswered (like the aforementioned mess with Libby and Walt) but what S. Jerusalem seems to be saying (and what you continue with) is that we aren't getting ANY answers. The truth is we ARE, they just aren't what we all wanted.
When Charles said that his son "died for the Island" (at least that's what I heard) I somehow assumed he was referring to Charlie's sacrifice that essentially got this whole mess going.
I don't think they are setting up love being the link to fix time or whatever, just that love is the motivation for Desmond/Charles/and frankly everyone on this show to do whatever they need to do for things to happen, better or worse.
We aren't going to get all the answers to all the mythology questions.
I'm a dumbass.
For some weird reason I thought that the reveal tonight was that Charlie and Liam were actually Widmore's kids. I guess I was just expecting Farraday to show up in a much better way than what he did (although it was still pretty awesome).
Supposedly we'll get some answers to what the Ann Arbor DHARMA station is at some point this season, presumably with the information on what Eloise Hawking is really up to.
Man fuck you guize. I really liked this show.
Uh, yes. It was good.
Haven't watched Supernatural since season 2 but I have the DVD box sets waiting to be watched. It's very good, although a bit formulaic, although I do like that they've developed a "mythology" for it now beyond what it had before.
What's the issue with the writers "filling in blanks" we as fans have already filled in? They might as well just air shots of fans saying what they think is going to happen instead of airing actual episodes.
Not to disagree with the Elder Couple, but I'd hold off on saying that the alt-world isn't paying off until the end of the series.
Someone pointed it out last season but Desmond can't not help find the Island.
We definitely will know about Adam and Eve by the end of the series. It's been the one constant that the writers have told us repeatedly we will get an answer to.
My money is on them being Adam and Eve. In fact, I'm calling it now.
I have a feeling that the Sun and Jin story will not end well.
Rewatching last week's episode last night I wonder if they are hinting that maybe Smokey/MiB/Esau is Aaron.
