"Catherine Keener is at my house?"

"When we don't listen to him, we always fail!"

He is awesome in that movie.

"Total fucking silence. Two can play at that game."

The Long Goodbye is outright sweet compared to The Player.

I disagree that the very idea of a sequel to The Incredibles would be creatively bankrupt. You just seem to be assuming as much, despite the work histories of the people involved.

Just came here to say that Ratatouille is the best animated film ever made.

Honestly the only truly "harrowing" moment in Vera Drake is the scene depicting why Sally Hawkins character needs an abortion. 'Cause guys could just do what they wanted to back then.

It's much less of a bummer than Naked. The issues at the fore of the material are not treated as heavily as you'd think. It's a very fair, humanistic film that is honestly more focused on Vera than the arguments around abortion.

Vera Drake is also excellent. All of his movies are, really.

Yes, Secrets & Lies is just that good.

God, that short is so powerful and haunting.

"I don't see how I could go on living life the same way as before."

I'm sure he will be well-paid. I'm also sure it will be a good movie because Brad Bird has, up to this point, never failed to deliver.

"FIVE….GRRRR….FOUR….ERGHHH!"

Except Brad Bird is talented and principled and nothing like the majority of the characters in Altman's most acrid and cynical movie.
