Why can't it be a white person?

Your novel. How is it (and why)

Douchey protagonist?
Dead Rising had a hilariously douchey player character, even for being designed to seem awesome to 14 year old boys. How does this game measure up?

What do you mean Charlie doesn't have any redeeming features? He's the only one who's willing to do any actual work, and he's easily the least evil of the five. He also writes an awesome musical.

Yeah, what? Please tell me it's Watson's love interest. You know, the one who had love interests, instead of the assexual one?

I don't click on links with that little explanation for why I should, so I'm forced to answer literally.

Home is one of my favorite episodes, but I agree with Rowan that it doesn't seem that far out of the norm. It even has some pretty funny parts, mostly involving Mulder's and Scully's blase reactions to it all.

FOX executives live backwards in time, like Merlin.

Hey Amelie, are you reading this?
I bet you're reading this.

The post for Outsourced isn't up yet.
But I can't wait to say on the AV Club how much I already hate it.

"Just because it was insanely popular doesn't mean it sucked."

Oh no! A show about a family! But the rubes like those too!

Cmndr_X, in theory it seems like I should agree, but I still lost in when she said "Shia Labeaouf." Plus, I'm pretty sure the accent is barely exaggerated.

Blankety
It was Haley's security blanket, not Luke's. Luke just threw up on it.

I wouldn't mind a more literal usage of adjectives and adverbs. If you say "incredible," it should mean that you actually aren't able to believe it. If you say "terrific," it should mean that it's so impressive that it actually causes terror.

Best season finale ever?
And honestly, it could have worked perfectly as a series finale, too. Not that I don't like what's still to come, but that really could have been perfect.

Why must you guys keep me in suspense?!?

"Nonchalanto, the Daredevil Robot" is pretty outstanding.

Marilyn Monroe did not weigh 165 pounds. (That was implausible sounding enough that I had to look it up.) Most sources say about 120, though some go as high as 140 at her heaviest. At her death she was 117. She was 5'5" and 35-24-35.

"If the idea behind BSG was to comment on the current social and political circumstances around the Afghan and Iraqi wars,"
