YES. THANK YOU. When I saw the trailer before Stoker I burst out cackling at "grizzly images," and no one understood why.

Wow, way to ruin Derek's character, show. He's always been a d-bag, but at least he always actually cared about the shows and the art and everything. Now he's just a petulant teenager pouting over not getting the (world's most boring) girl? Cripes. JackDav sold that confessional scene pretty well because he's awesome,

I wondered about that too, and I'm not sure—though when he said "it's a cheap rip-off of…" I honestly thought for a second that he was gonna say Rent, because that's what Hit List seems to be to me. Not that I can actually tell what the plot is, but…vibe-wise.

Yeah, I'm definitely not here for Cat blaming herself for legit everything. That was just plain out of character. I mean, sure, moms blame themselves unfairly for their children's struggles, but they've already messed up her character and her relationship with Robb enough; we're not gonna be convinced that they've

I don't even watch this show, I'm just here to slow-clap that episode title.

I'm super-late, but seriously, that was the best line. Lily is a scary automaton.  (Though I did love "SHUT UP, NATHAN!")

All I came here to say. Like, I was anticipating this recap last week just because I remembered that moment was coming up. Emily & Richard did some appalling things in later seasons, but man, their scenes together were always fabulous.

Yeah, the windows were my main clue that Kevin just imagined all that. Besides, they'd never kill Mama Tran—offscreen. This is a show that likes to make us feel all of our feelings; we'd definitely see that if it happened.

Did Julia look great this episode or what? Dang.

IT'S TERRIBLE. I honestly can't tell if she's really talented or not because it's so distracting. And the idea that she played the lead in Anything Goes and Maria was so funny. You get the impression the writers are just randomly picking out lead female Broadway roles without having actually seen the shows or whatever

Christian is so fabulous. The subtly hilarious way he played those early bits with Ivy and Leigh's argument, when he was like "…yeah, so…back to the scene?" was just killing me. Shame they don't let him sing more often.

I liked him for the very first time for a good sixty seconds this week, when he was laughing at Karen's dad randomly showing up and when he was all happy on the phone with Kyle, but then after that…ugh.

Seconding this; I distinctly recall my audience applauding more than one of his great monologues in that one.

Putting this out there: Bradley Cooper was WAY better in this than in Silver Linings Playbook. Mostly because it's just way better writing—the character's way more interesting and has lots of interesting subtle moments. I mean, I don't even like him normally, and I was blown away.

There's actually a cute little chicken!

That is a freakishly appropriate metaphor, all things considered. Well done.

That Tom/Derek scene was basically my favorite thing ever. I love their weirdly hot rivalry. And when are we going to get back to the thing about Derek's father's secret gay affair with some critic or whatever that was?!

"Oh, please. Prince made fifty-seven million take home last year. He didn't swear, and he mentioned God. Catch up." OUTSTANDING.

I'm sorry, but I'm just picturing the operator guy silently having a nutty and mouthing frantically at all his operator friends that he's talking to Walter White. While wearing his Pollos Hermanos t-shirt. Possibly I am projecting, but it's hilarious.
