"Oh my god, I got kissed!" "Who kissed you?!" "The Lord, Mama." Mama Kim will never not crack me up, especially when she got legitimately awesome in later seasons.

There's an article and photoshoot of her in the latest issue of Hola! magazine—a woman was reading it next to me on the subway the other day and I almost did a sitcom pratfall trying to subtly read it over her shoulder. God help me.
The fabulous cast made the fairly middling plot very watchable, I thought—but was it me, or was nearly everyone in this movie a ludicrously terrible shot?
I impulsively saw this movie at Lincoln Center last year and it become my #10 film of the year, so I'm really glad it's finally coming out and everyone else can finally see it. And not just because I'm pathetically in love with the beautiful Macarena Garcia now, but a little bit because of that. I actually gasped out…
Kathy does a ton of celeb-encounter stuff, of course, but I think my favorite has to be the Andy Dick thing. It's in her book, "Official Book Club Selection," and I don't even find Andy funny anymore, but the way she describes it is absolutely hysterical. "I'M HEEEEEERRR-AAAARGH!"
@Antoniooo:disqus Kateb is an amazing, magical creature!!
The occasional Lost references are like half the reason I'm watching this show, so I had to laugh that they referenced "Stranger in a Strange Land" at the beginning (8:15 AM in Phuket), as that's generally agreed to be THE VERY WORST EPISODE OF ALL. Good Lord, show.
This episode was beyond cheesy and ridiculous.
At one point he said "ANOTHER ten points to Gryffindor!" …Or, wait, that might've been something else.
"No one has ever made me something quite this disgusting before. I thank you." He just loves those girls so much.
My favorite small moment of "Birthday Parties" has to be Luke's little surprise cake and balloons for her at the diner; Luke's gruff-but-fatherly affection for her was always tremendously heartwarming to me, especially when Chris was being super-douchey. A season later in "Teach Me Tonight," when he says that he…
SPOILERS FOR FUTURE SEASONS
I truly want to believe that Derek offering his terrible coffee to the little kid and saying "you want some of this?" was an ad-lib by Jack Davenport; it's these teeny little glimmers of amusement that keep me going.
Oh God, they didn't even *try* with those fake-ass NYC street shots, did they.
"That's where I usually sit." "But I'm already sitting here." My God, did this show bring on a child actor that I DON'T want to drop-kick?! Amazing! The "I'll never stop looking!!" nearly ruined it, but for the most part Owen was actually pretty enjoyable. I am shocked.
You're probably right! I just feel sort of bad because from interviews you get the impression that the rest of the cast was excited to work with a 'comedy legend' and all…and then realized that he is, in fact, pretty much the worst. It's a shame.
Wow, that was actually incredibly sweet. Simon Helberg is way more awesome than they sometimes allow him to be, and I love plotlines where nearly or all of the characters get to do stuff together.
No, I mean, my damage is with the writers in this sense. I love them in many ways, but their material for Pierce has gotten so cringily close to home over the seasons—ever hear Chevy talk about his real-life dad? It's pretty much the same as Cornelius, but without the hilarious wig and awesome video game—and I often…
I thought that was a Grizzly Man reference! Wow, never thought anyone could get a joke out of that; I'm weirdly impressed. Honestly I'm pretty over the Chang character and I don't know where they can go from here that's not just repeating his insane behavior of seasons past, but I just find Ken Jeong to be such an…
Clearly you don't watch Glee. And that is a very smart life choice.
