I didn't know that but I'm not surprised. Letterman has a reputation for being petty. I hope that didn't hurt his career. I can see casting directors deciding not to give him prime roles if they knew he couldn't go on Letterman for the promotional tour.

Yep and it's Chase's fault. He made this amazing show with so much depth within hours and hours of development and he decided to end it with a bullshit first year film school ending. Hence people are still hung up over it.
