It's a nice moment. Spock, of course, doesn't believe in luck. Is he hurt that McCoy wouldn't get over "losing" the battle for the right to go on the suicide mission and at least be polite? Spock isn't supposed to feel emotions like that, but we all know that he does, indeed, feel the connection to his crewmates.

So, he should adopt the pseudonym "Jesus", is that what you mean?

I felt up Cautiously McElstien underneath the bleachers last night.

What?

A feature-length version of the Continental would work well, especially if it was shot entirely in POV.

MEEEEEEAT!!!!!

It's the lack of a background that ruins it. They all have the appropriate pissy expressions, but they need to be standing in the desert or in front of an abandoned warehouse.

Did you ever notice that bands made up of white guys are all "Doo Doo Doo Doodle Doo", while bands made up of black guys are all "Wah Wah Wah Waddle Wah"?

That firsties guy with the cancerAIDS is pretty reviled.

A fax machine is nothing but a waffle iron with a phone attached!

"It's a treat to put your feet in the Mississippi mud."

Copped a good hooker last night! She didn't go by the book, but damnit she got results!!!

In an unholy trifecta, the vending machine at the office is dispensing a flavor of that Vitamin Water stuff called "XXX" which is made of Acai, Blueberry, and Pomegranate. With the usual cutsie commentary on the label claiming the "XXX" means anti-oxidants and has nothing to do with adult content.

But do they have nice cans? That would redeem them somewhat….

What about "The Lapdance is So Much Better When the Stripper is Crying"? The Casio keyboard and the poignant lyrics make for an unforgettable chart-topper!

That's me in the corner. That's me in the spotlight. Losing my religion.

Or, they could perform a routine geological survey of a planet, finish up with nothing extraordinary happening, congratulate each other on a job … done, have a few drinks, then move on to the next planet.

Yes, but would the computer have been programmed with the knowledge that "Pi is an irrational number"? And even if it had, it still could have parsed the command as. "Calculate next digit of Pi. Repeat until terminating or repeating sequence is encountered."

Courage's theme music is one of the least appreciated parts of the show. My favorite piece is the "sad, lonely" dirge that plays when a character is alone in their quarters contemplating the universe.
