So the poser hipsters are now the hipsters?

Let's not forget the parade of mutant villains who's only power was apparently to "manipulate energy", allowing them to do whatever the story required…

What? No love for Excalibur?

This is the AV Club. All of you are supposed to hate The X-Men on principle. I look down at these comments and I don't see a single comment about Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing. Not even a hinting reference to the work of Peter Bagge. Have the forces of hipsterism finally turned to feast upon their own tails?

Perhaps he should've considered not basing the entire show on out-of-date stereotypes. Just a thought. There's so many relevant aspects of my fellow liberals to make fun of — why jump straight to hippie-granola?

It ain't the waiting, man — its the damn commercials. Maybe you're TiVoing your stuff, but anyone who isn't is subjected to 5 or 6 commercials every 10 minutes at a volume that certainly violates international arms treaties. Screw that.

What if we just hate Morrissey fans and are completely indifferent to the man himself because we don't care for his music and he's a racist prat?

*brain explodes*

If Bowie had flirted with fascism, fascism would've needed a new pair of panties.

He should've been afraid of Trent Reznor.

Yes, that would be the reference I was making.

Ok, I'll buy that one.

No, its probably the Nazi-thing.

Perhaps Bowie doesn't want himself associated with someone who went from mocking the National Front to sharing their opinions.

7th.
