Pretty sure that's because the "common knowledge" these days for trailers is that they should all look the same.  This movie could be totally, balls-out original and the trailer is probably going to have some premise setup, a couple quick jump scare cuts, someone kissing and cuts that keep happening faster and faster

Which junior writer at Rolling Stone is going to have to muster up some fake enthusiasm when talking about this sub-par slice of forgetfulness?

A little late to the party, but I think it's kinda silly that so many people bring up Cannibal Holocaust and call it "the start" of this sort of thing.  I get that it's another "this is real and just footage we shot" thing, but it's obviously in the "mondo video" vein way more than all of these and doesn't really feel

I'm thinking we can start the countdown to these both being cult classics one day.  I get that a lot of people who love the original few Halloween movies (this includes me!) get bent out of shape about how different the Zombie movies are, but I think as stand-alone deals, they're actually quite good and super

Eeeeh!  Where did you come from?

I can picture it now:  "Well, I like what you did there, because it really captured the raw rock and roll spirit that I love and have always embodied.  Your performance had attitude!"

Saw this documentary in Madison and it's pretty dang fun!  Agreed that the filmmaker (who intro'd the movie and was pretty funny in a Q&A afterwards) is obviously big on himself, but it's still a pretty striking documentary.

I'm planning on watching "Haywire" this weekend - what's the site consensus on this movie?  Good?  Bad?  Bill Paxtonamazing?

As I type, Jaguar is contacting the AV Clubs head office; they're dangling a huge advertising carrot and they have their eye on you, O'Neal.
