Even his earlier works like Mimic and Cronos exceeded expectations. The only movie I found slightly disappointing was Blade 2, only because the first Blade movie was a hard act to follow for it's time.
Short version - cocaine is a helluva drug.
Visitor Q is a really, really tough watch.
Him directing a Ted movie (or Ted like movie) would be……interesting…..?
Die Another Day was the breaking point of the franchise.
From what I remember, that Psycho remake was more him blowing studio dollars on a pet research project of some kind. Holy fuck that was awful - what the hell was he thinking in casting Vince Vaughn?

She could be a bit shy about taking on something like that after the disaster that was Aeon Flux.
John Wick was one of the best American made action films made in a very, very long time. The action film crown that the U.S. held in the 80's and some of the early 90's was taken a long time ago, even with the attempted importing of foreign talent like John Woo.

I'm digging the album for the most part - the throwback to the UK garage sound is nice, with a bit of a slower tempo and what feels a bit more of a modern R'nB feel to it.
It's not so much the 80's nostalgia - the Republican party has mostly had a policy of living 30 years in the past. Reagan wouldn't shut up about how awesome and pure the 50's were when he was running for office.
It's All Gone Pete Tong kind of explained the craft of dj'ing in a pretty brilliant manner early in the film, showing him trying to find the right cue to mix in the other track. Using a split screen for the use of headphones with the track playing on the other side of the screen, finally merging them when the tracks…
Nah, you gotta keep that - but if Verhoven was in the chair, I imagine that there would be a trip to the ER for both of them. Imagine the quick little jab they could take at healthcare if played well.
