Hey, let's have an amazing band on… and not have them sing a song? This was cool, I guess, but throw me a musical bone, here.

My heart plummeted when I read this as R.I.P. Tony Danza.

One doesn't dissect gossamer.

Um, is that CSN logo "ubiquitous"? I've never seen it until about 18 seconds ago. Now, those Poco, Steely Dan, and America albums - that's another story.

Sounds nice, but does a naked leprechaun chew on Eva Mendes' hair while sporting a hard-on? If not - no dice.

Oh I'm treading, baby!

Is it just me, or should falsely accusing someone of poisoning a loved one be punished somehow? Like when you challenge someone in Scrabble, but it turns out to actually be a word, there should be some mild penalty for saying "You killed my pa!"

Sprouts! Gotta have sprouts.

Hey, me too! The older I've gotten, the stronger my distaste grows for anyone who lets a music genre/scene/whatever dictate their lifestyle/clothing/whatever: hippies, metal heads, punks, goth/emo, you name it.

There Will Be Wood?

Just seems unnecessary and too flowery/cutesy, I guess. Like saying "doggy day care" instead of "kennel". Also, kinda buzzwordy - it seems like it's popped up very recently, and people have latched onto it because it's popular. I'm also overly sensitive to these kind of things, too, so there's that.

OK, anyone else over the word "gifting", or is it just me? What's wrong with "giving"? Is all part of the weinerization of people these days? Should we retroactively change "give" to "gift"? The Gifting Tree? I was gifted the clap in Nam?

Ya schnook!

What does tape-zack and tape-slater have to say about that?

Yikes! A thousand clams?! Wonder how much the matinee is?

I always heard "From London to The Bay", like Bay Area, where Hammer is from.

But she'll be at the Smoothie King Arena! Maybe for the next leg of her tour, she'll hit the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater.

I think the Dead has the widest chasm of any band out there (ever) between what they were actually about and what people say/think about them. It's pretty insane the unchecked and unfounded aggression out there.

I think there's a bunch of us here. It's weird that the culturally open-minded and normally non-judgemental commentariat of the AVC still have the knee-jerk reaction that the Dead seem inspire everywhere. I wonder how many of these folks have actually listened to some 70's era live stuff.

This article was good… but was it a slobberknocker?
