IIRC Dreamcast was designed to be very easy to develop for. I'm pretty sure it had no resident OS, and instead each game disc would load the OS upon bootup. This made it really easy to make bootloaders with hacked operating systems, and bypass copy protection.

She should gain the ability to take off Scott Baio's clothes?

That time they got chased into a tree by wild peccaries was *hard core*

Haha agreed… obviously I was waiting for a stinger but somehow was still confused as to what was going on when this started up. It was like Sif had wandered into a Farscape episode by mistake. It was so strange how completely different it felt; less like a different universe than a completely different form of media.

Well, I must revisit. I'm sure I haven't given it a fair shake. Although you did make me realize one of the things I least like about its production - for some reason I really, really hate synth drums. There's way too much of that on Flowers, too, even though I love that album. I'd just like to have it re-engineered!

WOW…. Press to Play. That is, perhaps, the sign of ultimate devotion. Occasionally I realize that, for whatever reason, I *never* listen to P2P. I'll be in the mood to listen to Ram… or McCartney II… or Flowers in the Dirt… or Chaos & Creation… but *never* Press to Play. I need to actually sit down and really listen

I've got Eggs Up and you're right - it's great! I can't believe the album was slammed on release; it's a fun listen with a nice range of tracks and has a nice mellow vibe throughout. That "Spin It On" isn't widely known, even among fans, is a shame. A great rocker. "Again and Again and Again"… "Arrow Through Me"… and

"Biker Like An Icon" is absolutely brutal. And he would always play it when he was promoting Off the Ground. Gah. And the only reason it exists is that he heard Linda said she "liked a Nikon" and he thought it sounded funny. I hate that song.

I really, really love "Tomorrow" on Wild Life but I just can't with London Town. I've never been able to get into it.

Back to the Egg is incredibly underrated. When I finally got around to it (in my post-Anthology, scouring everyone's back catalogue haze) I couldn't believe it isn't better known. Really good stuff.

That's a good point. George AND Ringo both had totally sketchy looking mullets during that time. What the hell? Was that some sort of thermodynamic balance for the whole British Invasion era?

That's a very good point.

I love, to an absolutely ridiculous degree, the stuff that McCartney and Costello wrote together. For 20 years I've wished that they would work together again.

I think the recall is just the sum total of the efforts Leslie has made over the years to improve Pawnee to the detriment of certain entrenched interests and resident idiots (it seems to be led by the Paunch Burger lady, and Harris and the guys from Animal Control are usually there too). Basically it's the same as

At some point I recall he said he gave it up - maybe when his most recent daughter was born? I vaguely remember thinking that Crazypants McGillicuddy the One-Legged Lawsuit Machine was behind it. Of course he could be back at it since that divorce…

George and Ringo both played on those sessions… which must have stung. I think Ringo was the one who objected; George was so passive-aggressive that I'm sure he was into it. If you watch those Imagine-era films of them hanging about John's estate George is just kind of being a dick and talking in veiled references

I think that "Dear Friend" from Wings's "Wild Life" was the first olive branch…

It's always been amazing to me that Paul AND Linda went through this whole era with those godawful mullets… two very good looking people with the worst possible haircut. And that's after Paul was in one of the most stylish bands of rock's most stylish era.

The lack of Joan has been my only major problem with this season, and it has really bothered me. I loves me some Joan.
