I'm still in the midst of working my way though my pull but…

Kelly Sue is just one of those writers I just can't get into. I tried to read Captain Marvel, couldn't get into it, though the art was so horrible that it certainly wasn't helped by that end. I really disliked Pretty Deadly as well.

So I wonder which veteran "hey, it's that guy!" actor will be cast as supporting with the typical CW lineup of mannequins.

If it's anywhere near Hannibal quality (which was one of the bigger surprises for me this year), it could work.

You're missing out on one of Marvel's best series, don't let Diggle's awful run put you off on Waid's great work here.

It's funny, I'm bored to tears by Infinity lately. It started off strong, but the past few issues (along with the continually slogging Avengers run) its just become tedium, and frankly overwritten tedium at that. I'm probably going to pull up anchor on Hickman's Avengers after Infinity closes out.

By the way, how about this Daredevil going to digital news with Daredevil: Road Warrior? I'm hoping this is just a stopgap before the inevitable relaunch of Waid's run, but I can't really think of many creators at Marvel I'd rather see on the character right now save maybe Matt Fraction and we're already getting that

I don't mind them letting Kubert write if the story is worthwhile, I like the idea of new voices getting heard (this paid off wonderfully in the Aaron Kuder written and drawn Parasite issue last month)..but…yeah…this is off to a rough start.

Yeah, I think Andy's a little more fluid and less "boxey" but they're both very close, especially nowadays.

Definitely make the Morrison run a priority if you're picking and choosing, particularly the amazing Batman & Robin run, which I think is still the highlight.

I read Damian: Son of Batman and Sandman: Overture back to back, what a strange experience that was. Both had lovely art, but the Damian story…well, we're looking at something that might be the next All Star Batman and Robin/Batman: Odyssey, which is good for a laugh if nothing else.

Read Red Lanterns and am thinking this is probably where I'm going to jump off the Green Lantern books. There's nothing outright wrong with them, I'm just not grabbed anymore…call it fatigue from almost 10 years of reading the same characters (though in fairness I really only ever collected the Johns stuff until this

I like it well enough as it along with Batwoman (up till now), Snyder's Batman, Lemire's Green Arrow, Azzarello's Wonder Woman, and Robinson's run on Earth 2 feel like books where the creators are/were the driving force less so the editors. Same goes for Dial H, but that's fairly obvious.

Read and loved Velvet, it was a book that knocked me on my ass as most non-superhero Brubaker tends to do.

Yeah, this movie was awful. Not only because its painfully overwritten with every conversation devolving into some long droning story or metaphor, but also because Ridley Scott clearly doesn't give a shit anymore.

Does Mad Men feature any writers he groomed anymore? I think Noxon is gone.

Though before Whedon got involved and started sprucing up movies like Thor and Captain America (especially), Feige was giving us shit like Iron Man 2…so there has to be some credit given there.

Don't they give him credit for developing it though?

I still don't even know which one is Fitz.

I'm not even bothering with Fantastic Four, so I'm hoping FF will have all the pertinent plot points I need to be able to read it here at the tail end of the run…somehow though I kinda doubt it.
