Fully agreed, I know they're talking about putting out a Wonder Woman: Earth One or whatever by Morrison and Paquette, but I just can't imagine it being any better than Azzarello and Chiang/Akins work. I know I've never felt compelled to buy the title regularly until now.

Yeah I understand when he came back to the title years ago, it was not the best, to be kind. I did own that X-Men 1 when I was kid, I loved that Magneto cover…though I doubt I ever actually read the thing.

The elaboration is much appreciated. My original game plan was to either purchase a run of it digitally, or slowly procure the Masterworks (I generally avoid the Essentials books as the lack of color is a deterrent for me personally). I'll probably go for the latter option just to try him at his best first, after

I was trying to figure out what PRA stood for, I assume The People's Republic of America? Utter brilliance, looking forward to learning who controls The Kingdom.

yeah, I love the inside front and back cover stories, but I'm not so into the stuff thats in the margins. The second arc's version of it is a little more interesting than the previous one though.

Oliver has said he's waiting for the trade on that one, but I agree its great. I think Matt Kindt needs to be writing something huge for one of the big two, but he hasn't gotten the chance….yet.

what's that? who is the writer? sorry, I'm pretty clueless.

Do I need to go from the beginning or can I just jump into Proteus?

Wait till Mud comes out.

This week was all about the Western for me, East of West was amaze-balls and I think Fatale might have been even better.

This is one of those movies where the hype is going to destroy it for me, especially my own lofty expectations.

I'm with you, the second half of that movie loses all of the great Fassbender momentum it builds up in the beginning. That final act is awful.

I ended up rather enjoying Dr. Manhattan a good deal, which is surprising as Nite Owl was atrocious.

I haven't really enjoyed a Cornell comic ever, not even the lauded Black Ring storyline…just something about his writing doesn't click with me. Demon Knights never really took for me until he left.

I was into it, a little underwhelmed at first, but then as his commentary on the New 52 in general, it was actually kind of interestingly subversive. It was just nice to have a Superman run that didn't just resemble professional wrestling/Superman punches other costumed guy real hard, for once. Morrison and

Right on, is that the one that has the Korean Mega Mart in it? I actually think that store (at least the food section) is kind of awesome.

which mall was this?

Friday was Spring Breakers. I ended up digging it more than I thought I would, most of that was due to Harmony Korine's style (though it started to grate after an hour), and of course James Franco…I think he should be seriously considered for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, though its early yet, I hope it happens.
