Speaking as someone who's in a very similar situation as George, I think there's more complexity to George's feelings than people may realize.  I may be projecting her, and giving the show more credit than its due, but that scene at the top of the stairs suggested otherwise to me - George looked all the more agitated

Here, here! My thoughts exactly.

Ah, I typically try not to watch the previews..so as to maximize my stupidity in public fan venues.

So I am the only one who thinks Elena was poisoned with werewolf venom when Connor stabbed her? Aren't nose bleeds and hallucinations typical symptoms of that?  Or is it so obvious that no one's bothering to mention it and I'm the slow one?

I guess 'identity crisis' might help (poorly) explain his very dumb decision at the end of this episode. He's gone from being asexual in season 1, to being ruled by his dick like so much Quinn.  I mean really…he's gonna start dating the woman he's confirmed as an remorseless, calculating killer, who now knows he's on

You might also be interested in an anime series called "Tiger & Bunny"  (try not to be put off by the name) - about a superhero reality show. and the complications it causes in the heroes' personal lives, issues of fame, TV ratings, corporate sponsorships, getting older in profession that inherently favors youth, etc.

I think y'all are setting an impossibly high bar.  Yes, this plot development seems trite and cliched.  Kinda hard to miss that all the time with a TV history as broad and lengthy as it is.  The writes on this show are very efficeint and careful, and sure this is not just a "meanhwile the other characters are having

Well haters gotta hate, apparently.  Funny you draw an analogy to childish attitudes, given this comment is best suited to a sullen emo teenager, compelled by romanticized nihilism to feel contempt towards anything popular or admired, merely because it is popular or admired (missing the irony that in your kneejerk

I think you are correct about Stanton's plan, which makes it very clever indeed.  That means his supposed plot to kill a bunch of people with those electric bombs was really just a ploy, and it really didn't matter whether it succeeded or failed - in fact it was likely better from Stanton's perspective that it failed,
