Cleopatra Coleman needs to lead an episode or, hell, a mini-arc. She's great, and she hasn't been given nearly enough to do.

Gary's the one I'm rooting for, above everyone else.
Beautiful. Inspiring.
Honestly, the Jack scene was juuuust long enough for me. That guy was such a heel that I felt pretty good seeing him sent to the corn field for such a petty slight.
The one with Kevin Spacey was really good. You know, besides the whole "Press X to Pay Respects" meme. The multiplayer was tight and the exo-skeleton controls added a really nice bit of versatility to the usual COD multiplayer. The character customization was also really nice. I think it's probably the best COD in a…
Maybe the first film is a time travel caper where they go rescue Han.
Back when Rebirth happened, I did sort of take this whole thing as less a criticism of Watchmen than as a meta criticism on writers post-Watchmen taking the wrong messages from it. Like, "here's the world pre-the game changer that is Watchmen. Here's what it wrought." I don't know if they'll actually go there since we…
Yeah, and, don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with that. If the story could easily sub in another character with no changes, then that's weak, and should be called out. I just haven't been seeing that in the critiques of the book. The "insult!" charges made more sense during the "Before Watchmen" announcement.
I binged this show last weekend, and I'm glad I did. This show is like a thick blanket on a cold night. It's comfortable and warm, and I'm enjoying my time with it.
My favorite bit about that mouse scene was that this was very likely the same dead mouse she found last season.
Which, I guess, is sort of my point. How would Watchmen have fared if it had stuck with that original concept? Kingdom Come was also critically acclaimed and revered by a bunch of folks, it tried something new, but it used DC staples. So people didn't really mind when these versions were mined for other stories, like…
League of Extraordinary Gentleman had Moore turning both Mr. Hyde and the Invisible Man into murderous rapists. Turning Alan Quartermain into an Opium addict. Turning Harry Potter into a school shooter equivalent. Etc.
Hey, c'mon.
It is not, but I wish it were.
He's super fast but he's only fast when going in the directions that the Flash isn't.
Except when he's William Burnside. That guy was a dick.
I enjoyed The Button, Part I. But then, I like when King writes for that nine-panel grid and allows his artists to go wild. He did the same during Omega Men, and I loved it.
Ahhh, sorry, I meant Pre-Rebirth. But yeah, it's part of the "DC You" line.
DC's been doing well since Rebirth kicked off. Take King's writing individual issues of Omega Men or most recently, the way he and Fabok filled the whole of Batman #21 with story, or Tynion IV's stellar work on Detective Comics. I don't mind paying for those. They feel meaty.
Eh, I'm still of the opinion that if it has a non-zero chance of pissing him off then go for it.
