Part of my problem with some of Marvel's current oeuvre is that individual issues aren't feeling like complete stories. They feel like snippets. Like I'm paying for scenes between commercial breaks rather than episodes. Not every book has to be the concise storytelling perfection of Ellis' Moon Knight, but I want to

I'd say Lemire's run on Hawkeye, while weird and a bit thin at times, is also worth a read.

The Mighty Thor, maybe? Ms. Marvel? I'm hoping the current Hawkeye run goes on for at least 20 issues.

I tried this book because I enjoyed Brittney L. Williams' Daily Planet illustrations, but I couldn't get into it. It was a whole lot of not-for-me very quickly. Even so, I'm sad it's ending because it obviously meant something to folks. I'm assuming it didn't do well month-to-month?

I wish I could choose to stay up the entire night without fuckin' Morgana being a huge drag. I'll sleep when I want to!

Cloak & Dagger def. needs to be an angsty romance show. If they nail the chemistry between the leads, then I'm sure it'll be solid. I am already liking the fx on Dagger's powers.

Am I the only one who finds Mallory Jansen achingly beautiful?
She's magical. Must have did d'dew.

Obviously, yes.

Listen to her "With Special Guest…Lauren Lapkus" episode. It's a riot.

Favorite glitch I've ever seen is this one from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The ship and its crew just straight up gets raptured. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

It's very attractive people being droll and wearing very fashionable clothing while shooting at things and other people. I watched it on a Saturday afternoon because it's the perfect movie to watch on a Saturday afternoon. I'd watch another one.

God, that was heartbreaking.

Who knew he invented the Army?

Oh, sweet. This movie was like, shallow as hell, but it was very enjoyable. Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill had some great chemistry, and I'd like to see 'em back.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. Ross's ex-wife was a terrible person, and so was Susan. It was more about how in later episodes, he would absolutely freak out about anything he perceived as "non-manly." I know Chandler was absolutely worse about all that, but I just really hate Ross.

Ross was hella homophobic and gender-normative. It reeeeaaalllly fuckin' throws you when it first comes up. And everyone's super cool with it, for some reason? I get it was the '90s, but the rest of the cast was way cooler about both these things than Ross?

Carol Anne Keane is my favorite.

Yeah, I did the same thing. It's subtle as hell, but brilliant because of it.

The Last Airbender, dudes. As an absolutely huge fan of the cartoon, watching that thing on screen was just painful.

I'm so glad the Sprouse brothers turned out well. Cole Sprouse sounds like a smart kid - who is like, a year younger than me but still - and he's been doing good work on Riverdale. Also, they do good Twitter.
