Kaitlin Olson's pretty good in The Mick.

This show is rad. I'm liking everything about it, for the most part. The visuals, Stevens, the pacing, and Rachel Keller. I'm super excited to see where Hawley takes us. This felt a little less "weird" than last week's, but even then, the Angriest Boy in the World scene? Yeah.
Mine, too. It was cutesy but in a way that absolutely makes sense to the character and the intended effect.
And Franklin Richards!
Yeah, everything about that table and the whole "Do the Work" bit felt Scientology-esque. I trust that it isn't just a throw-away. Hawley's good about setting up dominoes.
Yeah, I love her character, and I agree that it was super messed up what she did. But I also can't get over that season finale. She was seriously trying to get over her issues and saying basically "I like you but let's wait until I'm better" and he just overrode her by kissing her. Plus, I like her more because she's…
Yeah, I was like, Nick definitely didn't just become ultra-romantic for Reagan. He always went the extra mile with Jess - he broke his most prized possession for her! So it's weird that they're implying he didn't appreciate her when they were together. It was their life plans weren't compatible at that point, or…
Nick and Reagan's relationship is exhausting me. "Nick and Regan don't understand how to connect with each other! *Jess helps.* They live to love another day!"
Nah, Mickey's terrible. But Gus is just…worse, somehow.
Gah, she's so great.
Mickey's much too good for Gus.
What, no banana phone?
Raf in a looser-fitting shirt and sporting that beard = me finally getting what everyone was talking about when they talked about his hotness.
"Look, we all know Betty's weird, right? Do we really want to deal with, ugh, Polly again?"
Aw, hell. I should've had faith, but it hurt too much to even hope. And the thought of just breezing past the tragedy felt like the wrong move. But they did it, somehow. The Jane writers had me smiling within the first six minutes of this episode. That was an impressive feat since I was anxious going into this…
Piers Morgan is like if Glorious Godfrey was really, really bad at his job.
I have never eaten here.
They used to have a decent enough grilled chicken sandwich, but then they changed the recipe or something. Shit got fuuuucked up quick.
I'm the latter but I've started enjoying it un-ironically and so have become the former.
Yes.
