Shia.
These racist white people are just the dweebiest of dweebs, aren't they?
"So, we've got Soros, but you all have the other billionaires? What're they paying for?"
There's no strained yearning for something they can't have, they're co-workers and friends.
It doesn't even look like we're getting the cool "logo" effect with the Salinger quote! It looks like they just mashed together all of the three biggest GitS anime antagonists into this one character: The Puppet Master, The Laughing Man, and Hideo Kuze. So, *shrug.*
I also would've been OK with a nifty geopolitical cyber-crime procedural. It doesn't look like we're getting either of these things.
Wait, what? Why are they using "The Laughing Man" for this? Why not the Puppet Master?
No Batman adaptation since Batman: The Animated Series has really tried to balance the light and dark of Batman, or focus on what makes him most interesting to folks like me. I want a Batman who strikes fear in the hearts of criminals through his derring do but who also cares about his city. One of my favorite bits…
I love you, AV Club. I am sorry for not contributing anything of value but also not really.
Maggie absolutely killed Wes. Calling it now.
Karla Souza and Laurel have been my favorite since the first season. I just like her, and I'm glad she's finally getting to show her range.
Does, uh, does Polly even exist?
You'll take my Pizza Patrón when you pry it from my cold, greasy, and perpetually drunk hands.
I had no idea Gatti's was a Texas-only chain. I remember their pizza being so-so, but their game selection being A+.
Ahh, she's Michael Caine'ing it.
It reminds me of those videos of the Litchfield Mosquito Control District. Except not as adorable. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
His Drunk Comic Book History stuff on Youtube is why I can't hate the guy in spite of his obnoxiousness. This was before I knew who he was, mind you.
Roxane Gay and Ta-Nehisi Coates writing comic books is a major hell yes move by Marvel. But what comes with that is that you also get the usual novice-comic book writer's problem: too many words in a single panel. The word bubbles are practically overtaking the page here.
The President of ABC has said he's behind supporting it for a while yet. Their Tuesday nights aren't particularly strong, after all.
