Aubrey Plaza as Aaron Burr was…look, it was just good, good stuff, and it was also igniting in me new feelings that I didn't know I had. Alia Shawkat deserves the role of every roguish hero from here until the end of time. And Lin-Manuel Miranda did a *greatjob* telling the story. I know he tends to throw himself into

Andrew Garfield, bless his heart. The franchise not working was absolutely not his fault. I wish he'd been cast in better fare, but, eh, on to the next Spider-man.

Damn, this is great.

"My name is Kvothe, pronounced nearly the same as "quothe." Names are important as they tell you a great deal about a person. I've had more names than anyone has a right to. The Adem call me Maedre. Which, depending on how it's spoken, can mean The Flame, The Thunder, or The Broken Tree. "

Hey. The McElroy Brothers state outright that they are not experts.

Off-Topic: We should ditch Mon-El and bring in Brainiac 5. He would make an excellent addition to this show.

Didn't they plant the seeds for casting in that show a long, long, long time before actually confirming it, though? I don't know how long this show could go without introducing God. They could maybe forestall it by including other gods and mythological beings, though. Let's get Loki and Susanoo-no-Mikoto in on the

It's not a faithful adaptation of the comic by any means. Hell, that movie is to Constantine comics what this show is to the Lucifer comics. Even so, I love that movie something fierce because of how it uses the supernatural elements. Tilda Swinton as Gabriel is next-level great. What a brilliant and interesting

Ella and Lucifer would be a great duo. It's not like the sexual tension isn't already there, at least on Ella's side. She's been a great fit for the show, and it feels weird to think of a time when she wasn't a part of the cast.

And…I don't know how many other people this occurred to, but it's nice to see all of this with two Latino characters.

Gagh, what a stupid episode with a great ending. The courtroom bits made absolutely no sense, and the whole Chinese mob scenes were next-level ridiculous and mildly racist. That said, per usual, the cast and characters absolutely sold all of it and when it ended I wanted more. How do they do that?

Honestly? With the original creators on-board, yeah. He's not the best director or even person, maybe, but when he's passionate about something, it shows in his work. His work-for-hire stuff on The Flash is never bad. He sticks to the house style because he's a fan, and it's good. I would rather a fan of a weird,

Solid, solid episode, and not a terrible one to go out on. It did feel too disjointed for me to fully enjoy. It pivoted hard mid-episode. But even so, it was enjoyable. A B, B+ for me. The Hitchcock stuff was inspired. Reminded me a bit of how Community did its homages, but less all-in.

But whenever they spend lots of money on something expensive, it's always shown as being a great sacrifice. Bob usually mentions forgoing something else in order to move money around.

I did like that Bob won not for virtue of being good but just because his was the least destroyed by the hail of gunfire.

Archie meets…er, hmm, uh, wait.

Lovely, lovely movie, and the "Big Song" was probably one of my favorites in a long time. I nearly cried several times, and I didn't expect to.

The Ocean's utter exasperation with Hei Hei sold him as a necessity in the film for me.

Same. I thought it a shame that such a fine actor was put out to pasture like that. Glad he's back.

I'm also a bit bored of Maeve's story. Not that Thandie Newton isn't absolutely compelling in the role, but the story isn't exactly new. It's spinning its wheels a bit. The Dolores and William adventure is the one I'm most excited to see unfold.
