A+ for Rosa's dress. I don't even remember what the episode was about. But also, Jason Mantzoukas is a fine addition to the cast. He's unhinged and could be too far over the top, but Mantzoukas keeps just short of that line for me.

I thought the episode was fine, but it was sorely lacking in Nick and Winston. Nick being so wrapped up in Reagan's kind of a bummer. I get why it's necessary, though. Also - "Why he looking up to Chicago?" & "Rick Snips." Yes, yes.

Latinxs aren't a monolith and shouldn't be expected to vote the same due to immense ethnic and cultural differences. Additionally, there's this from the Washington Post.

RIP, Chapulín Colorado, RIP.

"2. Maze and Amenadiel hanging out (never not worth watching)"

I don't know. The show would change, sure, but it could pivot into a "Demons / Angels on Earth" show, and Chloe and Lucifer are trying to solve those crimes or mysteries. In addition to the crimes done by average humans. You could also begin to incorporate more and more of the mythology of the comics into the show.

Dr. Linda: The only mortal brave enough to tell the literal goddess of all creation "No."

Raf: "I dunno, she looked and sounded and acted almost exactly like you. You've pulled pretty much the same maneuvers against me in the past. How was I supposed to know this time was any different?"

Heh, yeah. Carnage would be a good villain for an Agent Venom movie. I'm not a big fan of the ultra-edgy core of Carnage as a character, but he's been rehabilitated into a half-way decent character in the comics of late. All of this is just me advocating for an Agent Venom movie.

Ella Lopez is fun. She shows up, is funny, smiles a lot, and then leaves. She's great.

Queenie and Kowalski were my favorite characters by far. Their relationship was great.

Was there a cartoon sequel to that movie, or did I imagine it?

"I'm not a racist! I just voted for someone who advocates for racist policies! You're the real racist for saying that white people overwhelmingly voted for him or white privilege exists! We have to stand together and not be divided, we're all Americans and humans! This is why democrats lost! Reverse-racism! My opinion!

Right, but the mere fact that he's said he is is worth being fucking terrified. Like, even if he can only do 1/10th of the awful shit he has said he was going to do, he's still doing awful shit. He also is putting into power the very people who will actually try to do these things. Again, even if he can't, the fact

Nice.

Telegraph Avenue is one of those books that you can read half-way through and think: "Yeah, I get where this is going" and then just put down, never to touch it again. I don't even mean that as a knock, exactly. I can even see a TV producer pitching it as a sometimes great, sometimes middle-of-the-road HBO drama.

Fondly remember Johnny Marr's contributions to The Cribs "Ignore the Ignorant." What could've been a pedestrian album elevated to a jammer by his guitar.

Oh, I loved this game something fierce as a child. But I also don't know that I ever complete it, no matter how many times I tried to play through it.

His costume looks straight out of Bibleman.

Capaldi is a strong presence and actor. His Doctor is fantastic, and I echo the sentiment that Heaven Sent and Hell Bent are well and truly great. But, boy, do I miss the show having a sense of adventure. There's a zest missing. Wonder abound but nothing all that wondrous.
