You are doing better than me. I got a treadmill in March. 30 minutes a day, every work day (usually 5 days/week.) I am down from 290 to 269. 250 is probably a decent goal for me as well. I am mostly just doing it for general health than a specific weight.

I have done something like that before, but I am pretty sure it was a very cumbersome way to go about it and not something I would recommend.
