What would be nice is if you spent at least half the review talking about the show itself, and not part 10000000 in the ongoing series of talking about reaction to the show, rather than the show itself.

Rewatching Sledge Hammer recently, the second season hasn't aged very well.

I would imagine, as an out homosexual, that Mr. Patton's desires don't run to Hustler.

I agree. Please present some actual evidence, the sort that would stand up in court, or shut the hell up. Oh, and read Bugliosi's book.

An exceptionally generous grade for this one, I thought. I'm as big a fan of this show as there is but this was just blah. They coasted on half a funny idea for the entire episode.

I don't want to have to leave my critical faculties at the door and just "enjoy what the show does", or whatever. I loved this show, it was comfortably my favourite sitcom for a few years (well, okay, network sitcom) and was funny and really smart.

A cool idea, and one I wish they'd play with a bit more. He's not been enough of an unreliable narrator, enough of the time, for this sort of thing to not be seen as just lazy writing.

I'm a Victoria fan worse than Donna is a Robin / Barney fan, and I can't fathom why she was back in the show, essentially playing a different character to the one I loved back in season 1.

But if they're that desperate for sex, why not book one night a week to have the Dad have the baby?

She's the weak link, for sure, but the show has completely locked us into "they're still happily married in 2030" so there's no wiggle room. She's a whiny idiot who nearly ruined Marshall's life a few times (up and leaving him, maxing out all their credit cards, the constant references to wanting to bang women in…
