I think the issue is, if we can find these large plot holes without having to think too hard about them (when did he get so dumb? Why didn't they ask Chris Elliot to look after the baby for one evening?) then the writers really ought to have noticed them as well.

I have been getting more and more annoyed with this series since…well, "Q&A" really. I didn't buy that a man who'd survived 5 years of torture broke after the lamest good cop / bad cop routine I've seen outside of a sitcom, in under a day as well.
