The Talented Mr. Ripley. He was amazing in that—like a jolt of electricity in each of his few scenes.

Was it that regularly? I couldn't remember anymore. It was such an achievement.

My favorite actor. I'm a theater geek, and watching him play both roles in True West on Broadway (swapping with John C. Reilly every few nights) has absolutely stuck with me the most of anything I've ever seen.

Less edgy, more dickish.

When I look at Roger Ebert, I really don't want to have to think about this:

Well, now my pedantic burn will make no sense at all.

This show was just so bad, but I did like Greg Davies.  Really, I always like Greg Davies.

And you should hear him sing….he was Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar about 15 years ago, and was amazing.

I've been a huge, huge fan of Varla for a long time, based largely on his theater work with the Royal Shakespeare Company.  I've been waiting for him to get an opportunity to show how magnetically intense and amazingly odd he is.  This is the first time he's gotten any kind of high-profile role on a show that airs in

The actress in the Internet sketch was Michelle Buteau from Best Week Ever (and, presumably, other stuff).

God bless Aaron Paul.   He makes his own fun.

Wow, that really could make a lot of sense.  It's true—for the first several weeks the dancers are completely at the mercy of their assigned choreography and their placement in the lineup.  Plus it takes some time to distinguish all the identical long-haired brunettes (for me, at least).

Sometimes I have a hard time enjoying this show, which I mostly love, because I fucking hate Nigel Lythgoe—he's creepy, inappropriate, condescending, racially…awkward, you name it. And since the show seem to be increasingly about the judges more than anything else—their wacky antics and "spontaneous" "one-liners"—it

I get a little jolt every time I see a mention of Bad Ronald, which scared me as a kid more than any movie before or since.  I've never seen it since, because it honestly unsettles me to even think about.

Rory Kinnear?
Mat Baynton? (too much like Smith)

I keep hearing Ayoade's name coming up, and while I really love him, is he really enough of an actor for the part?  It seems like such a demanding role, and Smith, Tennant  and Eccleston have such chops.

God, I love the Apprentice UK.  I know that Sugar is mostly (completely?) reviled in the UK, but after enduring Trump, he seems like the freshest breath of air ever. And Nick's perpetual air of disgust at all of these terrible douchbags is kind of delightful.

Not that she doesn't deserve to be there, but I really find Michelle loathsome.  The reason she lost(ish) last week was because she was too arrogant to take Nina's one clear direction, and if she just acknowledged that she made a mistake, that would be fine.  But all her "don't touch me!" drama-queening about how the

I felt like Zac had been won over to Heidi's side by the end.  I don't think Nina was helping her case with him.

Well, maybe they could move up and down the coast or something, because I would like to see more of them, too.  Tennant and Williams have a great chemistry.
