Wow.  I'll join the chorus and say that I think the best episode of the series, ever.  Maybe I've just gotten to the point where I love the show so much that I'm happy to watch the characters just talk and talk for a while, and to see everyone laid bare like that—even Malcolm—was riveting.

Is it my imagination, or did Wade's involvement in the show start to diminish after that whole thing with Nigel apologizing on his behalf for those peace dance solos?  I always wondered if that created a little bad blood.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm this invested, but this episode made me really, really angry.  The irrational fawning over the choreographers, to the point of holding the dancers responsible for the choreo's mistakes, is this show's biggest irritant to me, so an entire episode based around it couldn't be anything…

Manos is a rough ride, to be sure, but I can't imagine a list of essential episodes without it.  It's the first ep that pops into my head when I think of MST, for better or worse.

Yeah, I think that was my issue—his dance just didn't seem to have the content of the other guys'.  But you're right—that might be on Tyce if he deliberately went light on him.  Not to mention that I can;t stand Tyce's choreography on the best of days, so I should factor that in, I guess.

I just love Amelia.  I can see her schtick getting old fast, but for now, I just find her gorgeous to watch.  Although I really don't want to play with her like a cat all night long, Creepy Kenny Ortega, god.

I just started watching the first season (since I didn't start watching in real time until Season 4), and the camera work is really, really, distractingly bad.  All crazy close-ups and weird angles that make me want to stab someone.  Thank god they've improved so much.

Exactly.  It looks like an amateur Turner, or maybe Whistler, and it's by no means an embarrassment.  God knows I've seen worse celebrity art—at least this was in support of a good cause.
