I Am Legend is one of those books that just doesn't translate well to screen, even if you update it with splosions and put Will Smith in it.

I got it first on public radio, with music and interview clips. But that's ok.

He was wrong—it was on Yahoo news and also on Weekend Edition Saturday on public radio. On the radio, they did a pretty long piece which included bits of interview and music.
It's probably on other internet news sites as well.
