The not-as-sad-as-much-as-it-is-infuriating part is that there are still people who actively will themselves to believe that Hillary didn't comport herself presidentially while Trump kept butting in and ranting like a goon. These are political commentators on every major network and it's enough already.

No hustle either, skip!

I mean are we talking most watchable actors? Like when they're on screen no matter what's happening I'm instantly invested because of charisma? Yes, then there's two groups. Movie stars, and character actors, but what makes both this unique is how they go outside their own lines but consistently inspire.

The blank stares of the three leads in reaction to their surroundings is one of this show's greatest talents. Done better than any recent comedy.

It's so funny, I was thinking earlier in the episode when Earn finds himself with Darius I had the stray thought, "Would these two go to bat for each other? Uh, not really." Then after their odyssey, Darius hits him with it. They know each other now. They actually are friends and have some bond they didn't have

The one-two of batting Zan's extended hand away and knocking his hat off is such a simple yet power move it infused itself with my DNA. Love this show.

100%

Paperboi is my protagonist for this show. The tonal shifts mentioned last week, it's so on par. That idiot Van's youtube page took me out of the fun mood I was in, but cut to Alfred at the pool hall getting madder and madder and I couldn't stop smiling.

6 episodes and a canceled TV movie!

It's fascinating to me how the name "Tim Kring" instantly fills me with revulsion, contempt, and memories of unrequited love for Heroes. He's the worst and I hope his show tanks. Which is kinda like hoping the sun will come up tomorrow.

"We asked Gail to come too, but she…..she doesn't want no part of this."

"What? I shot you, Neal?"

Pyramid Head is fucking killing it. Someone get me the Silent Hill Recording Label!

History Teacher Douchebag FTW!

Not a single Ray appearance has gone by without an "All right, Neal!"-esque line and that's why the "rivalry" is fantastic.

They played the season run today on HBO2 and her awe-struck reaction to Lee "beating down" Jackie remains an all-time highlight.

I think the biggest surprise of the night is that this review actually exists right now. I googled "Vice Principals" for after-show analysis and this comes up.

Gamby mumbling his pre-arranged line was as classic Gamby as there could be.

Annnnd we're back. And all it took was for Neal Gamby to get shot. Thanks AVClub! But more importantly……what kinda food we eating this week?
