I'm afraid I don't get that reference.

Well, it was obviously meant to be ridiculous. Never mind take him out, why would she take him to both the stage and screen versions of The Wiz, and be annoyed at his reaction both times?  That was the funniest/weirdest part of the episode.

Finally!  Season 5!  Don't get me wrong, Seasons 3 and 4 were decent too, but now here's where it starts to get really fucking good. Zack has no idea what a treat he's in for.

@Cutlass12:disqus I think the Walkers are exactly supposed to be pointless video game elements. It's the people who matter on this show. The Walkers are just Macguffins.

There are plenty of townfolk and plenty of guns. Dozens, even. The problem is, as the Governor pointed out, his side has numbers but most of his people are "soft" and untrained, while Rick's people are hardcore survivors. It's also on their turf. Really, it's a fair fight, and hopefully it will be an excitingly staged

True enough. I imagine there will be some sort of quickie "ceremony" in the opening credits before the Governor attacks.

Given that there's no government, there's no actual "marriage". He just puts a zombie girl's ring on her finger and 'poof', they're married.

Sophia is still alive in the comics.

MOVIE SPOILERS:

There's promo pics of this episode with Frank and Ian at the gay bar talking to each other. I guess the scene was cut for time.

Unfortunately, it pretty much goes against everything we know of Mickey as a character, and the show's tone in general. But it's a nice thought, anyway.

Why "lucky"? Any music at all would've had the same effect.

Those silly women should really learn to take more than one tampon at a time.

Her wishy-washiness has been poorly written and she's not the greatest actress. But AV Club always has to take the women character hate up to 11.

I think it's the first one. Her crushing on Kev is a Pandora's Box they've opened.

Next Sunday is Easter?  Jesus Christ.

Yes. Then he died. Then he became a zombie. I'm sure the Gov deliberately didn't shoot Merle in the head so he would come back a Walker.

Mindless hating of random female characters is what the AV Club does best. It will be Betty's turn next month, and then Skyler's.

No way, it will be Judith.

You seem mentally unbalanced, just a bit.
