Did anybody understand what Rudy was talking about when he mentioned to Kennex something about being burned and the tests coming back negative? Was Kennex hushing him up? What was he referring to?

Carano could destroy any of them. She's the real deal.

Yeah, I remember her.

I liked her in the Pilot when she had her hair tied back and she was running, shooting, yelling. They set her up as Action Minka, but they keep her inside the station, mostly..

"It's not an easy thing to meet your maker."
Future episode: Caranobot is replicated by Dr. Vaughn, only to destroy him. By squeezing his head.

I can only speculate that they panicked and showed "Skins" as Ep. 2 because of slow ratings on the Pilot. "Skins" shows Kennex and Dorian at a later date, when their repartee is in swing. This, and the subject of sexbots, engaged viewers right away. DVD box set: "Director's Cut, In Original Order."

That glimpse made me sad that Danica was on a suicide mission. I want them to make a replicant of the replicant. Bring Gina back!

Agreed. Best not to underestimate Minka. She cut her teeth on FNL, where she went from small town rah-rah, idealistic head cheerleader, to teen coping with loss (broken home, gravely injured fiancee), to social pariah (town slut), to born-again zealot, to sadder-but-wiser girl. She played all of these shades with

"Unbound" was supposed to take place earlier in the season, following the Pilot, I believe—which would have established The Wall more firmly in viewers' minds.

She's just completed a revenge movie titled "In the Blood", and she's listed in another, as yet untitled film with Katee Sackhoff, Sharni Vinson, Linda Hamilton, and Pam Grier. Sounds like a women's action team.

Dr. Vaughn could make another Caranobot, or army of them.

The episodes have been shown out of order. I believe "Unbound" was supposed to follow the Pilot, because at the end of that episode, they show Caranobot's head in a case in the evidence room, with a light to show she has not been deactivated. So this story ties thematically to Ep. 1, where Insyndicate commited a

Friday Night Lights.

Yeah, but Lily's face is sort of getting stuck. It's weird to see only two expressions—anger and concern—on an actor of her range.

We saw Kennex's wife in the pilot when she tried to kill him.

“After that fight scene—yet another nicely choreographed bit of stunt work for a series that has the benefit of Michael Ealy and Karl Urban as game fighters…”

!!!

Thank you for that check-in with canon. I'm willing to go along with the shooting outcome, but I think even Sherlock, who is without empathy, would feel shock at taking a life—even that of the heinous Magnussen—no matter that his mind tells him it's necessary.

Oh yeah! I should have read the comment above you. Now I get the gist. (Go Molly!)
