I think that Jeremiah was responding to The Waltmobile, who soundly dissed Reyes. Jeremiah was saying that, had these 2 characters—who he feels swallowed up Season 6—been allowed to swallow up Season 9, then the focus—and the blame—for Season 9 would have been lifted from Reyes.

It's just freaky. Happens once every 10 episodes, whether he needs a new one or not.

…a la The Truman Show. Wherein Fitz and Liv get into a boat and try to sail into the future, only to run into a set wall.

Loving the atmosphere.

Lol. Good to see you, BTMcPD. Have you no rebuttal for Jeremiah, below?

Newman really embraced the role of Yosef.

Thanks for what you said about moving Victor back. It's such a difficult issue. My parents were convinced to hold my brother back and make him repeat 3rd grade. It really wrecked his little life.

Truly heartbreaking scene. One of the highlights of the episode.

Kind of gross how Vlad and Jayne were clutching each other while covered in Yosefsand.

They've taken Renfield. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!

I know, and Neal was driving all over NYC, it seemed.

Right. JS was one of my favorites, remembered without effort. A shapeshifter with melodious voice and healing in his hands, he had no equal in X-Files history.

THIS IS NOT HAPPENING NOTES

Just an impossible thing—the beaming up of Jeremiah when they have found a—revivable?—Mulder. The "this is not happening" line ties into earlier episodes, and Anderson plays it well—but it would have been more powerful had she been allowed to f*ing scream the house down. No words for this.

Agreed, Anderson is especially fine in these scenes. In Season 8, she had the very difficult task of playing every shade of grief and doubt.

PER MANUM NOTES

Excited about Alec Newman's portrayal of Yosef Cervenka in this episode. An actor of his caliber!! Newman's voice, demeanor, and look for the very old and powerful vampire were flawless.

I continue to watch Dracula for the story and, in great part, for the esthetic treats embedded in this fine production. Special treats of Episode 7:
—Alec Newman's voice and demeanor—believably savage and noble as Yosef
—Lighting of night street scenes; the sound of horses' hooves on cobbles
—A fine, boozy Cockney accent

Yeah, it seems like June should've had a say in the installation of bee boxes. Hmmm…

Thanks, frabjous. Really cool story about the "red bees." I am always learning something new on this website (AV Club)!
