Don't tease me. What do you know, Queenie?
I love Janel. She's so good in this.
A great conundrum. TGW takes on such difficult issues and we feel for both sides.

Well spoken..
I would like the show less if the kids' characters were not fleshed-out. Agree with you and "no TV and no beer" that Alicia's being a single mom is an essential story line, one that complicates and enriches her life and must be shown.
Christine Baranski is very well-preserved at 61. I miss Diane's romance with the gun guy. They were cute.
Backstory on Ichabod: His schoolmates in England all thought he was a throwback geek because of the way he talked.
Good point, snaggletooth. Do you still find her sympathetic?
Wonderful line! IC's bafflement at all things modern is so much fun.
Ichabod's been faithful while showing interest in the ladies in a playful, courtly way. I've been enjoying that.
Peter's such a predictable chump. "Let's make the move now" and "I love you" translate to "I'm guilty" and "I'm afraid of losing you/losing political traction." Same ol' same ol'. Alicia had better keep her own place, ad infinitum.
I disagree with VDW that Kristina "just tossed herself into the mayoral election because she didn’t really know what else to do." I think she realized that her reasons for wanting to work on Bob's campaign were good reasons to go for it herself. She wants to make a difference. She wants to meet interesting people. She…
I've been wishing Crosby could connect with his new baby, so the sweet end scene between them with Jasmine listening in was super nice.
I'm with you on this. They made my brother repeat 3rd grade, and it shredded his confidence in the worst way to watch his friends go forward without him. It was awful, and then he had to live with that for 9 more years.
I am expecting this kind of plotline, too, so that Kristina gains an edge over Bob.
Yeah, it is kind of a recurring theme: Bravermans don't get boundaries. No wonder Drew was at a loss when he needed to set boundaries with his new roommate. The scene with Amber and Ryan ganging up was fun, though.
The two scenes would have resolved better if Kristina had agreed to talk about finances in the end. When Adam got all puppy-eyed and handed over his wallet—that was just weak. If K won't look at her campaign finances realistically, how are we supposed to believe she can oversee the City's spending? Jeesh.
I enjoyed the backstory, too. Eli started a dangerous game with his strong-willed daughter when he "bought" Sunday dinners by paying off her college debt. (Guess she figured out a way to pay it off herself.)
