The pen was so hokey!

Huck is Olivia's Rottweiler: Dangerous and emotionally stunted, but doggishly devoted to Olivia. In trying to protect Huck, Olivia engineered the worst betrayal possible. Now he knows, will Huck see Olivia as part of Eli's scheme? Will he go rogue? My guess is that he'll come back.and allow Olivia to placate him, or

Evil Daddy made a good point about the position of First Lady being beneath Liv, and Mellie drove it home by stressing how bored she is in that position. Liv as happy wifey in the White House? Never gonna happen.

Aha.

I like the mirth, too, and the light irony. Mison keeps me watching. So good with the anachronisms, so dashing. Also, how great was he at refereeing the sisters' catfights? Fun!

Nah, I think Cho will be back. Can't wait.

I have the same worry for Shaw. Too relaxed too fast, for a woman with her personality disorder—whatever it is—the one that allows her to kill people without feeling anything. She seems very attached to Bear.

Brax, by your comment, it was fursa_saida who translated the scene correctly, not dogpoet.

Reese:
"You do not have to believe that I'm an art collector, because I am about to make you unconscious."

Have to agree with you on the stalking thing. Then the guy says women like it when he knows things about them. Do they like being lied to? Do they like invasion of privacy? Do they like being followed down the street at night? Not cool. I gave the show a lower grade for this. Smarten up, writers!

You think? Well, maybe on TV.
The show is worth watching despite these little oversights.

Couldn't they have made Reese a bit better as a phony art collector?
"You’re right, that is a lovely depiction of post-modernism." I mean, c'mon.

I hope they hold onto some of that social ineptitude while allowing Shaw to grow as a character. I would not find Shahi remotely believable as an autistic woman, even a slightly autistic woman. Emotionally stunted, maybe.

I'm with you, Flopka. Root is a kick in the head. I like it that POI has given her so much story.

Shahi's a world-class beauty who has traded on her glorious smile—see Fairly Legal. Nobody has verve and bubbles and curves and smarts like Shahi—she's playing against type here—except for the smarts—and I find myself waiting for her to laugh.

The shot was awesome.

So happy Root's been sprung. Let the fun begin! Loved the way she looked the doc in the eye and shot her would-be assassin aiming backward. Great stuff, very Bond.

Loved the tight-fitting LBDs on the trio and the way Shahi kept pulling on hers when, in fact, nobody wears tight like Shahi.

I would add that Lauria seems a bit underused in this show so far. I hate hearing people talk about his abs rather than his considerable acting chops. Not that I'm immune to the effects of good abs.

I'm a fan of Matt Lauria (from FNL and The Chicago Code) and hope he will stay on the show. Ryan and Amber have some hurdles, for sure—Amber likes a dark horse, which makes sense for her character.
