That was pretty hard to take, too.
That was pretty hard to take, too.
Yeah, me too. It almost works better on rewatch because all the Cox scenes become just brutal, and you can really appreciate how good McGinley is.
I agree. I am but a moderate fan of "Scrubs" (watched almost all of the series; really like the first few seasons but am not that into the rest as it got sillier and sillier). I understand why a lot of people find it lightweight.
Shhhh - they might hear you and start writing Quinn smarter. And we can't have that, he's the funniest part of the show.
Dexter: From the powder burns on his hands and lateral trajectory of the brain tissue, we can tell that he blew his head off with a shotgun. Case closed.
Duh?
I thought that was odd too. Even if he doesn't ever eat people himself, Dexter's both a psychopath and a former serial killer groupie; you'd think he'd observe this with his usual clinical detachment, rather than visceral disgust. But I guess they wanted his little speech at the kill table later to be a sort of…
I'll only be happy if the final episode involves Dexter driving a monster truck over that bench repeatedly and laughing maniacally.
The "I'm a monster" bit was pretty true in the first (and not coincidentally, the most interesting) season. But they've moved steadily away from it over time. After the show wraps, I want to go back and re-watch that season just to see how different Dexter was. My memory is that he was not nearly so touchy-feely…
I think you can acknowledge it's at least stupid not to even TRY the obvious thing.
Yeah, the guy at the restaurant thing just seems too unimportant to explain. You could come up with several explanations and they're all incredibly boring.
You lie!
"Big Fish" is indeed very maudlin. Your reaction to it will vary depending on 1. if you have any tolerance for that kind of thing at all, and 2. if you think it comes off as heartfelt in that particular movie. I admit, I saw it once in the theater, and it worked for me. Haven't seen it again since, and there's a…
The years after "Ed Wood" have been brutal:
I'll stop bashing when he stops sucking.
Don't worry, I'll always be here.
I do this every day on the bus while it's going up and downtown, AND while manhandling my junk. But does anyone applaud or put ME on Newswire? Nooooooo.
That's kind of a Del Toro trademark. He's a bit overrated. But his movies are fun, at any rate.
I was never really into him, actually. Something about his sing-songy flow. Dr. Octagon is a much better album than Deltron, for me.
You misspelled "really, really white."
